Build Your Board →Achieve Access is $300/month: one STAR-vetted operator matched to your function and stage, one structured 60-minute session per month, and async access between sessions. Month-to-month, no contract.
What's included in the $300/month Access tier
The Access tier is designed as the right starting point for founders and leaders who want to test what structured operator advisory actually produces before committing to a full advisory board. One STAR-vetted operator, matched to your current functional challenge and company stage. One 60-minute structured session per month with a pre-submitted agenda – you submit two to three decision points before each session, the operator comes prepared. Async Q&A access between sessions for time-sensitive questions – not a hotline, but a structured async channel with a 24–48 hour response expectation. The platform handles session scheduling, agenda templates, and outcome documentation. You handle showing up with real questions.
Who Access is right for
Access is designed for three types of members. Founders at pre-seed or seed stage who have a specific functional gap – GTM, product, hiring – and want operator input without the overhead of managing multiple advisors. Emerging leaders at Director or VP level who want a senior operator in their corner as they navigate a specific career transition or organizational challenge. Operators and founders who've had informal advisors before and want to understand what a structured, accountable advisory relationship produces before investing in the Founding tier. Access isn't a trial – it's a complete product for members whose situation calls for one high-quality operator relationship rather than a full board.
What changes at month 1, month 3, and month 6
Month 1 is matching and context-building. The first session establishes the scope of the relationship and the operator gets the background needed to give specific input. The value in month 1 is lower than it will be – that's by design. Month 3 is where the relationship typically hits its stride: the operator knows your context deeply enough to challenge your assumptions rather than just affirm your direction. Month 6 is where the compounding shows – the operator has seen you navigate 5–6 real decisions and can give input that's calibrated to how you actually think, not just what you say in sessions. The relationship builds a context model that gets more valuable over time.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
Access is month-to-month with no minimum commitment. You can cancel at any time. The only exception is that if you're mid-month and have used your session for that month, there's no prorated refund – the billing cycle completes. The Achieve team asks that new members give the relationship at least 90 days to generate meaningful outcomes, but that's a recommendation based on what produces value, not a contract term.
Can I upgrade from Access to the Founding tier?
Yes. Members on Access who want to expand to a full advisory board (two to three operators) can upgrade to the Founding tier at any time. The operator from your Access engagement can roll into the Founding board if the relationship is working – you don't lose the context built in the existing relationship. The matching team adds the additional operators during an upgrade, so the expansion timeline is 10–14 business days from when you confirm you want to upgrade.
What happens if the matched operator isn't right?
Flag it to the Forward Achieve team – no direct conversation with the operator required. The team runs a brief diagnostic and initiates a rematch on the same 10-day timeline as the initial match. The first 30 days include an early check-in from the Achieve team specifically designed to catch fit issues before they become frustrating. Mismatches happen – the vetting process reduces them significantly but doesn't eliminate them. The rematch process is straightforward and doesn't require you to manage an uncomfortable conversation.
How is Access different from on-demand expert platforms like Catalant or Clarity.fm?
On-demand platforms give you access to a call. Access gives you a relationship. The difference is context accumulation: your matched operator builds an understanding of your specific situation, constraints, and history over months. By session three or four, the advice is calibrated to your actual context, not the 45-minute version you can explain in a cold call. The STAR vetting also means the operator has documented, specific outcomes in your domain – not a generic expert with broad experience and no proof points.
